Jules Jacot #1 (From Jim Alexander)

Jules Jacot came to the Zoo in 1943 replacing the late Mike Kostial Sr. who began the big cat show in 1933. By 1949 Jules act had 15 lions, two tigers, two brown bears, and a leopard. The act was presented in an arena attached to the lower level of the Lion House. Jacot would enter through the same chute as the animals.
